Perhaps some of you "Eddie" bashers should read the latest news. His daughter Carrie never hated her father, Debbie did and she passed on her venom to Carrie and her brother. Carrie has a sense of decency about her although we don't see it much. This was a cute video of Eddie and Debbie, but everyone I have talked to seems to think Debbie was and still is a phony and never deserved the sympathy she got when Eddie left her.

I like Debbie i'm not so sure about eddie, but their daughter Carrie is so damn great. She is funny great actress and damn good writer. I have just watched Postcards from the edge ( very good movie)

I read both of Eddie's biographies and from them I concluded that Liz Taylor could "bewitch" any man! Ultimately, even though he was in love with her ,and it was a humiliating experience to be "dumped" so publicly, he eventually realized it that he was better off away from her, since all her men turned out to be "nursemaids" for her.

Eddie was a cute guy with a pretty-good voice. He seemed very sweet but overwhelmed. I love Celeste Holm and her wry sense of humor and wit. She would have been a nice, regular addition to the show.
