    Not new to me. I already had been solving level 5 and 6 sudoku puzzles using the Microsoft Excel. Well, you could really use the same technique using pencil on the Sudoku puzzle.

    there is three methods to solve a suduko - a number can only be in ONE spot in a row - a number can only be in ONE spot in a box(fastest) - this method(takes to mutch time) but in harder sukokus (none of the methods work all the time) - se if one or all numbers can´t be in a emty spots in a row or a box. that is how really solve ANY suduku. i prefer kakuro -> mutch harder.

    @NoLegsOnTheBed sudoku is about astrology not math...the number nine is the perfect square which has important implications of knowing self. the truth is that solving sudoku should be purely of mind for mind creates and only mind is important. when u solve sudoku u r becoming a master of self.

    I took the same concept you did but one step farther. I made a program that automatically eliminates the repeat numbers up and down the columns, side to side the rows, and even the box it exits.

    You can use spell check by computer also. Try puzzle. It,s not spelled puzzel. The fun of Sudoku is to THINK.for yourself.

    It would be far faster to just do it using logic than go through all that, sudoku is a game of thinking..
