    what about the chases from the terminator movies? all three had a totally awesome car chase that would have fit in perfectly. I mean, how can you ignore the T-1000 driving the truck off a bridge in T2, or the crane being flipped upside down in T3. James you really should have put those in.

    7 ups car chase ending was an adlib. The stunt driver was suppose to stop before the tractor trailer but the car slid in gravel so the stunt driving ducked to save his own head.

    missing some classic car chases scenes wat about, bourne movies, Terminator 2, bad boys 2, matrix reloaded. it can still have cgi to be awesome. those were all 1970s crap

    Death Proof was a boring car chase in general, but it is even more weak when you compare it to all of the other ones you mentioned and some of the other great ones like Terminator 2 and The French Connection. I never heard of #10 and #9. I have to check those out.

    Re: Death Proof. The whole American, 'girl power' attitude can get in the way of your enjoyment of what's occuring on screen but at the same time, it suits the flavour of the film. I myself have no problem with it and admire the film for what it is, which essentially, is a car/slash/slasher movie! It's like if Michael Myers was a stuntman, wasn't so repressed having to hide behind a William Shatner halloween mask, and used a car instead of a kitchen knife!

    @mrlee192 There is no CG in the car chase scenes in Bourne... what movie were you watching?? I've seen the making of, they filmed every second of the scenes physically and performed every stunt... I think in supremacy, only the final crash has some cg in it when the dude hits the pole. but that's it.

    @colliric I agree I posted my comment about that movie before seeing yours Bourne Supremacy chase isdefinetly my top. The Ultimatum one was perfect too. Smart, quick, good camara work. It didn't even give you a minute to question if its real or is there a stunt double.
