By popular Space Fan request, I offer this video to help answer some of your questions regarding the expanding universe. Many of you consistently ask: If the universe is expanding, then what is it expanding into?

This concept is non-trivial to try and explain in a 5 minute YT video, but I do my best. I hope this helps!

Thanks to all of you space fans for watching this channel, it means a lot to me.

I garumtee the universe is just a tiny cell of some sort and we are inside of it trying figure out what were in. The same thing happend to me. My balls were small than they had a big bang then lights out on them cause they had a big crunch.

Maybe when all the dark energy is 'used up' that gravity will take over > big crunch. That's what I think. There's no accurate answer so far, just theories. But the official would be that the universe will continue to expand forever.

So - What about the Big Crunch ? Yes ? No ? The universe will just keep on expanding until the Local Group of galaxies is no longer " local " ?

maybe at edge of the universe if there is an edge, laws of physics just break down completely. or it could be curved back on itself but that would be strange probaby sum massive force that prevents you from going 'over the edge'

as a matter of fact, reality is an illusion. a mistaken idea based on nothing but conclusions that rely on the comprehension of our surroundings. if you were to ask a planet what reality was, it would have no perspective to conceive an actual conclusion based on feasible evidence. we ourselves have our boundaries when comprehending the universe around us. none of our physical laws are truly significant to the universe, for they are made to fit our need for comprehension. they are ideas.

The subjects reported what they subjectively interpreted to be interdimensional beings. This doesn't demonstrate that they really were interdimensional beings. It doesn't even demonstrate that they were more than hallucinations caused by LSD. I have hallucinations every night which, at the time, seem perfectly real. Those hallucinations are called dreams. It's known that the brain is capable of indulging in things which exist only as ideas.

A hypercube is an object in the fourth spatial dimension that we cannot visualize. However, a fouth-dimensional being, or someone who can see into the fourth spatial dimension, would have no problem explaining what it looks like.

Isn't it sad your comment that for all practical purposes has nothing to do with this video's topic, yet is rated to the top. What does that say about the youtube numbskulls.

The video actualy states that the observation of the oldest photons were those when the universe was around 500 million years old, so around 13 billion years ago. Topas12345, you are not making any sense either.

The first light came some million years after The Big Bang when the stars were made. Before that there were no light at all. At least, so says the theories
