    you prolly need to replace the fuel pump & also filter,try to turn the key & have somebody or vice versa remove the gas cap & listen for a hissing sound for a few seconds..if no sound then the fuel pump isn't engaging,also try testing the fuel lines with a pressure tester with the key on if it reads 0 the fuel pump isn't engaing again.Hope that helps.

    95 lincoln continental an my car starts but dies right away so mechanic said it was fuel pump not enough fuel pressure an got a new one an it does the same thing....wat could it be.....help

    Well to start a car up you need three main components and that is gasoline - spark - and correct timing. The last thing you want to check is the computer. If the three main problems still wont fix your problem it could a simple sensor needing replacing or maybe even a bad fuse or low battery. If there is low or no compression then it could even be a bad header or blown gasket. If none of these seem to be the problem it might be the computer.

    Hi it is -20 below here at my place and my car is in storage for winter have a problem first when i try to start it it will start but after 3 seconds the engine stop running
