Um, I think most have missed the point here.....that these geniuses in the govt and so called "skeptics" concerning life "out there" (that keep trying to convince the populace of the proliferation of weather balloons and exotic 'secret" technology) that it is impossible for us to be alone as intelligent life. Is designed to open minds a bit to the great likelihood (certainty actually) of advanced life visiting this planet and their likely influence on history. And I do believe in God btw.

Why the fuck are people discussing the bible here? Seriously, this vid is just saying well maybe we got the big bang theory wrong (I think anyway). Before you guys bitch about what to believe in, please go and look up the origins of these texts, I mean where they came from. Because it sure wasn't the christians/jews/muslims who wrote it. I mean this is empirical archaeological/historic evidence which is conveniently ignored. The Bible is just a retelling of older religious texts..

you should really try to read the whole chapter instead of just doing a google search on "slavery in the bible" and use it against those who really know their Bible and their King. Really... takes a minute to see that you have no clue

1 < 3 I think the most important part of 'the bible' was the part when it goes like yeah ummm (Pause for dramatic effect ;) ) "God created everything and it was good " 1 < 3 and then people come along and say " OH except for muslims christians hindus jews atheiests blacks whites asians money drugs sex alcohol plants animals pork cow butter meat leavening work rest play ."sure i've missed something else. just seems to me the rest is a waste of time we could all have spent getting along

Then sadly, I know your Bible better than you do. If you read the new testament, you would find things like this: Matthew 18:25: "But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made." Luke 12:45-48: "And that servant, which knew his lord's will.. shall be beaten with many stripes." Also in the books of Mark, Luke, Ephesians, Colossians, Timothy, Corinthians and Galatians. Slavery is clear in the NT.
