    Dave, Use caution with using propane, I have built TONS of spudguns and had one explode in my hands. The way I found that saved my life possibly that day was I had the chamber wrapped with rope. I had selected a cheap cloth rope from Home Depot but it did keep the shrapnel away from my gut.
