KAZUYUKI ISHIHARA (Japan) is the proud recipient of numerous awards and accolades including three consecutive Gold awards at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He was also a Gold award and Best of Show winner at the 2008 Singapore Garden Festival for his Japanese-themed garden design. Ishihara has participated in numerous green design projects in Japan including the Glover Garden in Nagasaki-city and a botanical garden in Osaka. He firmly believes that living an urban lifestyle can lead one to lose touch with their environment, and sees plants and gardens as a way to help re-connect people to nature.
