It just looks small, it's over 350ft wide and 150ft long. The images were taken from Space Shuttle Discovery on Mission STS 119 during the "flyaround" after undocking from the station.
it takes years to get to mars with the technology we have today, what about in 50 years? We may soon have the technology to build a moonbase HQ for long trips into space. And think about how fast technology has developed in the past 50 years, whos to say we wont find other resources to use as rocket fuel?
which is why if we discovered that there could be ice and water beneath the surface of the moon or mars, it would be much easier to launch shuttle from the moon it would take a lot less fuel which is one of the main problems for spacecraft that are going to travel long distances.
- Its not a problem, they have already figured that out, its on the ISS... they basically drink their own processed urine...
also, its 'I see A problem'. not AN problem.
