just bought my very first dslr.. its a canon d600.. i have finished reading the manual that comes with it.. and was just wondering.. about the tip that a certain photographer told me when i was buyung may cam.. he told me to never dial my lenses "zoom" level and focus when my cam is in Auto Focus mode.. how true is this?? the thing is due to his advice... when i want to go nearer to my subject using my lenses and i am in AF mode.. i switch first to Manual Focus then go back to AF mode again...

I LOVE YOU! Setting such a simple function made my pictures beautiful. "AUTO" should be removed from cameras.
