The Race Across America Bike Race has been called one of the most grueling events in the world. Only half the riders who set off on the 4800 KM grind even manage to finish it. In 2007, Canadian Peter Oyler finished 8th out of 24 solo male racers, becoming one of only about a half-dozen Canadians who've finished the race. This year he plans to finish first. The Hour's darby wheeler talked to Peter about the punishing trek, and pushing the limits of the human body.
