Just remember I bought all this stuff myself!! The only thing I didn't buy was the d70 and the lens. My father bought it for himself, though I'm free to use it whenever. This particular camera was about 450, which at the time I could not afford. My dad liked photography at the time, so I showed him this awesome deal and I did my bidding tricks and won it! Totally agreed. This is much more durable and much more professional than the canon. This is so professional and has such great features in the picture viewer than some do. There are many possibilities with this camera. And 6.1mp isn't horrible, it's pretty low but if you're just doing basic pictures, you're set! Mine was 450 on ebay with the body, 18-70 lens + hood and cap, 70-300 quantaray lens + hood and cap, one battery and charger, and two 512mb CF cards. Great Deal!!!!dimanche 06 novembre 2011 18:02:58

You got a nice find there. I'm looking to buy a D70 as well.
2079 is sweet. But the D70 is known to be a 'tank' when it comes to durability. I've heard people getting 150,000+ actuations without having to service anything.
It would be great if you could tell me how the 1.8 inch screen fairs when you need to review images for their focus. (taking some small DOF images at a large aperture).

The d70 is still a great camera to shoot with. I have a d90, but my girlfriend has a d70 and we get great pictures from both! Some people on the internet complain about the lack of warmth in the d70 pics, but thats because they dont understand how to tweak the whitebalance settings. Learn that and you can take great shots! The biggest downside is the noise in lower light settings, thats when my d90 really outperforms the d70.
