    I think all Nikon Coolpix cameras make this noise in the background.... Please rate, and comment...

    My Nikon Coolpix L11 video sounds the same. But, the macro/stills are awesome.

    I have the s570 and it sounds like a fan in the background -.- I'm going to return it and get the sony one ! gawd ppl say that nikons are amazing but I can't record anything without it sounding like there's a stupid fan behind me

    the cause of this, is because of the lens of the camera, not really the les, but when you are moving, the camera is estabilizing image, so it make noise.

    :( yeah mine L11 do the same, it have video size 640x480 * and video q is normal but that fck noise :( maybe i can replace that mic with other but nothing i allready broke display :D
