Competition in Kenya's mobile telecommunications landscape is set for yet another shift. This is following the move by the country's third largest telecoms operator -- Telkom Kenya -- to sign a partnership deal with one of the country's top telecom dealers -- the Mobicom Group. Until last week, Mobicom was a major distributor for Safaricom, which is Kenya's largest mobile telecom operator by subscriber base, having controlled 10 per cent of Safaricom's revenues through dealerships.
