    The National Cohesion and Integration commission wants president Kibaki and his predecessor Daniel Moi to refrain from attacking each other over the proposed constitution. The two have exchanged words over the document with Kibaki asking Moi to stop confusing Kenyans about the proposed constitution.

    There is a tug war between the National Cohesion and Integration Commission on the one hand and the National Commission on Human Rights on the other. Each is looking for justification to exits after the Referendum on 4th August. Particularly the National Cohesion and Integration Commission is an endangered species. KNCHR alone is recognized in the New Constitution. And the KNCHR feels Kibunja and his National Cohesion and Integration Commission are encroaching in their territory.
