See this amazing video of an understandably terrified Steve Leonard walking into a dangerous king lion's den before the lion changes its mind and goes for the attack! Would you be brave enough to attempt to cuddle a creature with powerufl paws, razor sharp claws and gnashing teeth?

I grew up in India at a cat care and rescue acreage with sumatran tigers and lions. Tigers are native to the jungles of India whereas the lions were mostly strayed or not wanted pets sometimes from circus's around India. If I know one thing for sure about lions it indeed is the fact of their intelligence. Very intelligent hunters and socially aware animals. They know how to be dominant and define the meaning of dominance in the animal kingdom.

Animal trainers use sticks, whether it's for lions or dogs to scare them or put them in a state of obedience, of sorts. They simply teach them to fear the sticks when they're young. You have to remember they aren't logical beings, like "those sticks can't hurt me".

shoudnt these people wear body armor i mean u cant b 2 careful with a giant animal like that no matter how well u know the animal it can kill u 4 ni reason but hey this is what they like so god bless them

The thing with all mammals is that you have to show no fear and at the same time be cautious and respectful. Mammals literally sense fear, and fear to them means something is not right and they will start getting guarded.
