Rare footage from inside the crew cabin of space shuttle Columbia during its final moments. You can hear the crew talking with each other and at one point they get the feeling something is wrong. This is the real unaltered footage I found buried deep inside the NASA archives.

Some remains of every astronaut were recovered and all 7 helmets. The bodies all returned to the families and the helmets reside at KSC.

It wasn't really a black box. Not like the black boxes that are on civilian aircraft. It wasn't designed to survive reentry. It's only by dumb luck that it went through the rest of reentry and landed in such a way that it was basically undamaged. This video isn't even from the OEX, it was stored on a magnetic tape, like a cassette, that was found by the side of a road. The end of the tape was burned away which is where this video ends, the shuttle and the crew survived for a few more minutes.

Its a shame someone can clown on a terrible accident. People lost their lives. They'll be forgotten. Challenger7or Columbia.
