At the 2009 National Sudoku Championship in Philadelphia, US and World Sudoku Champion Thomas Snyder goes for the $10,000 first prize but writes way too fast in the closing seconds and makes a mistake. Three minutes later, Tammy McLeod would turn in a correct grid to win the tournament and a spot on the US Sudoku Team. Also of note, third place finisher Eugene Varshavsky, seen here in his hooded sweatshirt motionless in front of his grid, was suspected of cheating earlier in the tournament, particularly after he could only place three digits after 8 minutes in the finals. It's ok, this happens to me sometimes too. When I have a lot on my mind. He was probably not used to too many people. And he wanted to win so badly. But he's the best master doing the sudoku, because all the camara was on him.

i like one of the last commentators in the video who said he should have double checked it (instead of grinning and advertising his book...)
