    CP container and auto racks train south bound on CN track going to the cross overs at control point Boyne to get to home rails. This train has distributed power on the rear. At South Parry, Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada on May 18 2009. I used two camcorders to make this video. Main video was recorded using a JVC GZ-HD40 for HD(1920x1080) and a JVCGZ-MG77U for PIP(640x480). Watch in high definition (1440x810).

    CP uses DPU's so they can run longer trains using the same amount of power, which makes it more fuel efficient

    Yes it was. Pretty good for two locomotives on that line. Once they clear the crossovers the really book it. Hoped you enjoyed the video.

    Thanks for the comments. Glad you enjoyed the video. CP has sharper grades and curves than CN. Distributed power allows them to run with less locomotives and have quicker starts and stops and reduces the strains at the couplers
