    Full info: http://www.exosphere3d.com/pubwww/pages/project_gallery/cactus_1549_hudson_river.html This animation is based on all currently available data concerning the US Airways Flight 1549 crash landing on the Hudson River (Cactus 1549). Satellite imagery, elevation models and robust GIS mapping methods are utilized to create a vegetation model, terrain model and ground clutter (3D buildings). Of all available audio tracks, only two are used, La Guardia Tower and New York TRACON Departure controller position. Radar data as well as the onboard Flight Data Recorder are utilized in constructing the flightpath of the aircraft.

    Also, the interesting fact concerning this F/O is that he is also an airline pilot with over 30 years experience. He assumed F/O positon due to staff cutbacks with the Airlines. Between he & Sullenburger, there was over 60 years experience. The "teamwork" these guys demonsttated was Phenomenal. Although sure of himself, Sully still asked Jeff for his professional input & experience to assure they had touched all basis.

    Hi, I'm currently a student majoring in Animation at SCAD Savannah, Georgia in my third year. Thus far, I love what I do, but this form of art is extremely hard to master, and has left me sleepless for so many nights now I cant even count.     they should rather have a specified, more professional ATC reserved just for emergencies... not that this one wasn't professional.. or someone else should have taken care of the other planes.. anyhow,, everything is under the hands of the pilot. atc is just for the help..
