In this Flash ActionScript 3.0, PHP, and MySQL tutorial video and source file download you can learn how to build slick CMS(Content Management Systems) for your client websites or for projects that require many people to input data. A Content Management System made in Flash makes editing content easier visually and physically for the user or client you have created it for. This method uses one PHP control file, one MySQL database(with 2 tiny tables in it), and a flash application that is programmed intelligently enough to display dynamic content from a MySQL database, or any database type system. We also have tutorials that show how to use a flat text file as database, or an XML file as databse if your environment cannot run MySQL easily. Brought to you by FlashBuilding.com

thanks a lot, and im finding your website very useful. im 16 and im building my first app on android for my timetable at college. its worked fine but I made all the lessons/rooms in Photoshop and brought them in. what I would like to do is make them editable so that anyone can use it. I've used dynamic text boxes and text inputs to get it in the app but obviously when I close the app it resets. could someone help me out and tell me what I need to learn to get it to stay? would I use a database?

The example only shows communication between Flash -> PHP -> MySQL. If you want to add more security - go ahead ;). Do this for the beginning: Send from Flash to PHP data, from PHP check MySQL for existing usernames (or whatever you want to check), return true or false from MySQL to PHP. If username exist in SQL database, then register the encrypted session. THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING! Greetings for Develop PHP!
