The Bill & Melinda Gates’ Annual Letter! ►
Special thanks to Bill and Melinda Gates for collaborating in this video.
    How Batman BEATS Superman! ►►

Gotham is full of things that can kill you––the Joker, Penguin, dirty cops, poor infrastructure––You name it! But there’s also the sort of danger with which we’re all familiar, like Disease. MacGregor’s Syndrome, the illness that plagues Mr. Freeze’s wife, is THE disease when it comes to the City of Gotham. This got me thinking: What is the real-world counterpart to MacGregor’s Syndrome and are there any promising treatments or cures? In this episode, I explore as much Batman Lore as I can to find out, and the answer will make your Blood Run Cold!

The Gotham episodes support your end hypothesis. You can see as Victor Fries tries testing the frozen helium on different subjects and their cells more or less dying. UNTIL one subject comes back to life at the GCPD and alerts Fries that his cure does work because it doesn't kill the cells. However Nora doesn't want to live with her husband on the run and switches the correct cure with one that would kill her before Victor then freezes himself and is cured by his own cure then becoming Mr Freeze when Hugo Strange uses the cure left at Arkham Asylum as a bargaining chip to cure him - although he has to stay in sub zero temperatures or he overheats (except if he has his suit).

Mr. Freeze is not an anti-hero. An anti-hero is someone that does good as a whole but with questionable methods. Deadpool and Wolverine are anti-heroes. They do good by stopping the bad guys, but they also kill, torture and brutalize people. Mr. Freeze is not doing good, he's committing crimes to try and save one person's life. His goals are not the betterment of mankind, it's a selfish desire to get his wife back. He's a sympathetic villain, not an anti-hero.

One thing that bothers me about the openning, comparing Batman to the people curing diseases and saying just like Batman those people are making a difference. I would like to disagree with that, in that those people are doing FAR more than Batman. Batman is not making a difference. Gotham is still an absolute shithole, he has done effectively nothing in almost every continuity. Comparing the people going out there and making a difference to batman is frankly an insult to those people.
