HALF-LIFE 2: Episode One

Follow the thoughts of Dr. Felix Freeman, brother of Gordon Freeman and complex individual. In a case of mistaken identity, The G-man takes Felix Freeman out of stasis 20 years after the Black Mesa incident and sends him to join the resistance and stop The Combine.

I know a lot of people are going to say this is just a blatant rip off, but after watching Barney's Mind I became inspired to make an episode of my own.

------ BACK STORY ------
In an alternate timeline after the events of the Black Mesa incident, A young scientist named Felix Freeman survives the mass of invading aliens, and double crossing soldiers which came forth in response to the resonance cascade.

After running and fighting his way through the dark bowels of the Black Mesa Research Facility, he is suddenly teleported by a strange man in a suit and put into stasis after being mistaken for his twin brother, Gordon.

Twenty years later, the man in the suit revives Felix from stasis and sets him loose in an eastern European country to fight alongside a rebellion and overthrow a ruthless dictator.

But Earth is a much different place in twenty years. Felix learns that after his escapades at Black Mesa, Earth had been conquered in a matter of hours by a mysterious alien race known as the Combine, and that his old administrator, Wallace Breen, had struck a deal with the aliens and effectively became the puppet dictator of the planet.

After much hardship and conflict, Felix fought his way through the stronghold known as the Citadel to end Breen's reign of tyranny and rescue his close friends Eli and Alyx Vance.

Felix and Alyx chase Breen, but before they can catch him, he activates a shielded teleporter that would transfer him safely to the alien's home world, where any further attempts on his life would be impossible.

Felix continues fighting to the top of the Citadel, and destroys the teleporter's dark energy reactor, consuming Breen in the process.

After a quick celebration, Alyx informs Felix that the destruction of the reactor would cause a massive explosion and tells him they must escape before it is too late. But before she can finish her sentence, the dark fusion reactor explodes. Just as it seems Felix and Alyx would be engulfed in the explosion, the man in the suit returns and stops time. He congratulates Felix on his work and proceeds to return him back to stasis, seemingly to leave Alyx to perish in the explosion.
