    This one's a little long, but I go through many of the main points of the 2012 stuff. If you like it and find it helpful, please help me get the word out about this so that people will not go nuts like they did just prior to Y2K.

    Tony, I have a correction, sort of It's not the winter solstice per se, since it's the Mayan calendar; and in Peru, Dec. 21 is the SUMMER solstice. This is why I think that it's simply a calendrical issue, since the primary function of priests since agriculture was to note the time of year, and what people should be doing according to it. Before leap-year was invented, this required a calendrical device to avoid losing 25 days every century, and people would end up planting in winter etc.

    Yes but Mayans,Celts and other people didn't use a calendar, they simply used calendrical-devices like Stonehenge to measure when the sun started going back on the horizon.

    The first leap year in the modern sense was 1752, when 11 days were 'lost' from September with the adoption of the Gregorian calendar. After 1752 we adopted the system still in use today where an additional day is inserted in February in years wholly divisible by four, other than years ending in 00 exception of those divisible by 400 which are still leap years. This is not the first use of leap years; the Julian calendar we used before 1752 had a simpler system of leap years, and remember.

    I have a friend that was caught up in that Niribu crap. He was my best friend in high school. Mental illness ran in his family but I always thought he was spared because he seemed so normal. He kept talking about a zeta talk website. I went there and it was a bunch of gibberish. I think it is more like a cult than anything else. Then he was all on chem-trails. He said the government was making clouds so we couldn't see the planet x approaching.

    you should know t darnell , most internet users are trolls who entertain themselves by pretending to believe in niburu etc. if they were really scared , i guess they would quit their day job , buty the telescope , hack into nasa computers or write to their congressmen. but the sit at home and make comments on 2012. pretty lacksadisical ,rt!! americans are not that dumb i think , i am NOT one of course.

    or the English coast it has only been eroded at its very base but if that land mass moved up slowly over the course of millions of years erosion would be visible and yet its not..

    niburu in conspiracy theory is not a planet it is a red dwarf that can only be seen easily by a infered (sp) you never debunked the Mayan theory completely you just said what other "less intelligent" people would say. PS it would be extremely hard to rebuild transformers without electricity to build them. and there is documented that the earth has stopped and rotated in the opposite direction.
