    "RTD turned DW from a camp show into an advertisement for homosexuality" its not true.. i thin it was nicely implemented in the series.if homosexuality(its more bisexuality but whatever) is all you see in the series then youre missing the point.

    Jesus, you can't spell 'writer', how old are you ? Terry Nation, Terrance Dicks, Chris Boucher, HInchcliffe .... these were Dr Who writers. Tennant? Please, Tom Baker pisses over them all and it's not even debateable. RTD came up with absolute shite and will not be remembered for anything other than that 'Daleks in Manhattan' travesty - the low point of the franchise. RTD turned DW from a camp show into an advertisement for homosexuality, which is all his 'work' ever represents.

    oh god yes...writing for doctor who would literally be my dream job...well, script-writer of almost anything tbh...but doctor who would be the BEST, literally...I think I ould end up making the doctor too much like 10 though ;) xx

    I prefer Matt Smith and Steven Moffat... but only by a hair. I just prefer silly whimsicalness in my Doctor and dark narrative/no silly monsters in my plot. But David Tennant is a better actor by far and I respect him COLOSSALLY more than I respect Matt Smith. I just like Eleven's dialogue, partly because it's written by Moffat. Davies is phenomenal too, but all my favorite episodes, I didn't realize till now, are Moffats. Blink, Pandorica Opens, Wedding of River Song... gripping stuff.

    Sometimes I think about Ten, & rose, martha & Donna I get this indescribable feeling of nostalgia & longing that I don't think I could ever feel for Eleven, or the Ponds, or any other fictional character ever. I sort of feel like Ten *isn't* fiction, and this whole Matt Smith thing is a just silly little story, and Ten will come and whisk me away in his time machine. I don't know what it was about the Doctor that burrowed itself into my heart more than any other television show ever could.
