NRU, an app that shows off Zagat data, by just pointing your iPhone around, will come out in the next few days on the iPhone app store. Marko Balabanovic, head of innovation at http://www.lastminute.com labs in London, UK, gives us a sneak peak. Yelp.com is rumored to be working on a similar app. Distributed by Tubemogul.

Try out the app 'Place'. You can speak out your question to it, and it will give a list of the best, nearby places. It then even guides you to the place using augmented reality. It's really cool! Check it out here: itunes.apple.com/us/app/place/id511858002?ls=1&mt=8

There's a very cool iPhone app called Satellite Augmented Reality. It has a database of over 370 geo sats and lets you view where they are in the sky. It also calculates the azimuth and elevation angles for you based on your location. In addition, it lets you enter a virtual location in order to see what the satellite view would be in, say China, if you are in the US.
