World 3000m steeplechase champion Ezekiel Kemboi has said he intends to switch to the marathon in time. However Kemboi has ambitions to defend his world title next year in Tokyo, Japan, before making the switch. Kemboi finished second in today's steeplechase finals behind Richard Matelong, who was delighted to become the first Kenyan to retain the African title.
