This isn't by any means a great performance, but it's great to see this rare form of such an influential style to what we now call contemporary wushu.

The Ambush Fist is not exclusively associated with the Cha style. it is also found in Mei Hua Fist and Sun Bin style. This version is a sophisticated one that conforms to the key theme of the set. The Ambush specializes in holding at least two possibilities alive at one time. This is the "ambush" a hidden hand, an unusual turn, etc. In some ways this gives some of the feeling of Lost Track but, ultimately, this is a long, nicely constructred Cha form.
