    @ Joek0617- Depleted Uranium munitions ARE radioactive. DU is simply another class of uranium (all Uranium IS radioactive) and has a half-life of 700billion years, the reason you can stand to be around DU without insta-death is its biological half-life (the time it takes for the body to eliminate half of it) of only 15 days, your still going to be at risk of radiation sickness for well over a month even after just the smallest dose

    Bad memories of the Kitty Hawk sailors flooding the base with long lines and causing havoc out in town and ruining privileges for everyone else... But sure would have sucked to have been stationed on there though.
