Being Canadian wouldn't make a difference. I am, and have been suffering for 3+ years. Neurosurgeons refuse to see despite an MRI showing disc bulges and herniation in 3 spots. Still my doctor keeps trying to make appointments for me. Apparently, it's not bad enough yet, though I'm in pain every day and I'm only 28. This video makes me light-headed.
I have the same thing but hearniated disk n disk degeneration also so dont know if surgery will correct all the pain plus im VAARY fearfull of getting su rgery because of my weight issues i weigh like 300lbs although dont look it as much but still makes me fearfull of the recovery
I always wonder if the spine could correct itself from twisting exercise. I just still need to study the spine more to see if my idea is correct. I have had siadica since 2003. Pain is always present but I don't seem to be so quick to go in the butcher room.
I literally had my surgery today. I am amazed that my lower leg pain has disappeared. Only once or twice I felt a little, but like I side I am laying in bed recovering my first night. At this point I do not regret it. I started off with just lower back pain for a few months, tired everything, yoga, stretching classes, chiro,, body massages that did help the most to subside along with Pilates, and will continue with both after I fully recover. Massage aids as a natural deflamintory and Pilates
WHen I was on oxycodone I nearly end up at the hospital because I couldn't empty my bladder. This drug extreely harmfull for your organs. Stop it now !!!
Does anyone know how long the surgery procedure is? Removing the herniation, how long patient is under gen. anesthesia? Probably too spacy to drive after surgery? I'm having this done in Portland OR next month - am quite nervous about it. Thanks.
thanks for the feedback. i actually already had the surgery and it was really successful. i was only on pain medication for 3 days and im feeling so much better :) the surgeon was amazing and i didnt really have much of a reaction the anesthesia :)
