    New kinds of advertising channels, like Apple's new iAd platform provide both challenges and opportunities. While some call it "splinter-net" amongst media planners, others point to new kinds of advertising accountability (for example using Twitter as a way to accurately track buzz) that make new advertising more effective than ever before.
